Welcome to the Tangled Tower in Háj – a unique building with a touch of steampunk! We offer an unforgettable experience: accommodation in the tower with a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside, and an original escape room game.
Accommodation
The tower can be lived in all year round, and the owner offers short-term rental of the whole property. The tower has two rooms – a living room with a sofa and a bedroom with a double bed. Down in the basement there is a small kitchenette. The bathroom is next to the tower, in a hobbit house. The ideal capacity is two adults, optionally with an extra bed for one more small child. A stay in the tower is not recommended for people with limited mobility or a fear of heights. Please note: the tower was not originally intended for rental but for private use, and its layout and construction reflect this. The steps to and from the living room are narrow and steep. The stairs to the bedroom are also very steep – more of a ladder – and small children and seniors find coming down them quite difficult. Moving around the room with the floor hatch open can be dangerous for children, as can the balcony, which is very high up. For this reason, stays with children under 5 are not recommended.
Viewing tower and other services
By arrangement with the owner, you can visit the tower and enjoy the view of the surroundings and Turna Castle. Outside the winter months, a 9-metre swing is installed on the tower. The walls of the tower are adapted for rock climbing – you can book a climbing instructor or climb in pairs. The tower is also used for children's photo shoots and wedding photos. The property includes a garden with a barbecue area. Guests can visit interesting places in the village of Háj and the surrounding area.
Escape room
The tower has two escape room games, so the living room doubles as an ESCAPE ROOM. For groups of 2 to 6 people, the owner offers the chance to play an escape game, which normally lasts one hour.
